Tantalising Tasmania

DAY 1 Friday

Today we meet up at our hotel in central Hobart.

Our bus collects us from the hotel at 5.00pm and we are off to introduce you to the beautiful quaint old city of Hobart, while receiving your Planetdwellers Welcome pack and goodie bag.

After a mini city tour we head for dinner at the small dinning precinct of North Hobart.

With dinner over, its Friday night, the perfect time to visit gay night life in this southern city.

DAY 2 Saturday

Meet at hotel foyer after breakfast where we walk to world famous Salamanca Markets and walk around local produce and craft stalls.

Enjoy Lunch at the markets or fish markets. We meet up at the markets at 2.00pm and catch our bus to Mount Wellington the highest point in Hobart, where we will ride bikes down the mountain, with some small coffee and cake breaks.

Bring your cameras for the stunning views and photo opportunities along the way.

For Dinner we head to one of Hobart's beautiful Vineyard Restaurants for an exquisite dinner and drinks.

Once dinner is finished we will visit some nightclubs with a fab and famous Tasmanian where you stay until you are ready to come back to the hotel. Hobart is compact, so no long trip back to the hotel.

DAY 3 Sunday

Meet at Hotel foyer at 9.00am ready to check out and catch our bus to Port Arthur for our day excursion entry fee included to this Convict rich heritage area.

Late in the afternoon we catch our bus to Arrive at beautiful seaside town of Swansea.

We stay at a small Bed and breakfast and enjoy dinner before moving to the bar- Planetdwellers encourages other locals to pop in to have dinner or drinks, so a small party may take over.

DAY 4 Monday

Wake up by 8.30am Check out of hotel and head to Left Bank cafe for Breakfast. Finish the best Lemon curd Tarts in Tassie and head to Freycinet Lodge. Check in and meet to commence our walk to Wineglass Bay.

We start our walk along Hazards beach and stop midway to do a delicious Pink picnic! Yum!

We continue on to Wineglass bay for a glass of champagne, lots of photos and casually walk back to the lodge.

Dinner tonight is in the Lodges restaurant, where we get to experience more of the great locally grown produce Tasmania is famous for. After dinner time to relax and unwind in the bar or back in your room.

DAY 5 Tuesday

This morning we leave the lodge for Launceston Australia's 2nd oldest city.

We arrive into Launceston at 10.30am and do a city tour and then lunch at a local old Australian Pub.

After a relaxing lunch we drive on to Cradle mountain, Check in to the Divine Cradle mountain lodge, relax and get ready for Dinner.

DAY 6 Wednesday

After breakfast at 9.30 we meet at foyer for a tour of the mountain, with a small hike, plenty of wildlife to be seen and your chance to breathe that amazing fresh mountain air.

You can head back to the hotel at your own pace.

The afternoon is perfect for booking Massage in award winning SPA at the resort.

Tonight is our farewell dinner to be held at the lodge, lots of laughs assured.

DAY 7 Thursday

Depart from hotel after breakfast to Launceston Airport.

Your onward flight should be booked for this date for 1pm onwards, for those wishing to stay on in Tasmania we can also drop off at any accommodation in Launceston.

We say our good byes and truly hope you have had a memorable trip and a wonderful Planetdwellers experience.
